About Meals

All meals are provided and included in the price. At Hwyl a Sbri we have a modern, well equipped kitchen/food preparation area where healthy and nutritious meals will be freshly prepared daily by a full time cook. All our staff have received food hygiene training hold current food hygiene certificates.

Whenever possible we avoid the use of additives, colourings and the use of sugar and salt is kept to a minimum. We cater for vegetarians and those with special dietary needs and cultural requirements.

Breast feeding Mums may wish to feed their baby in the nursery to provide expressed milk, there is a private quiet area available to do so.
We are happy to make up feeds for babies if this is preferable or more convenient for the parents and we will provide puréed food when babies are being weaned onto semi solids.

A weekly menu will be displayed in the reception area in advance – parents are asked to let the staff know if there are any foods their child does not like to eat. We will endeavour at all times to replace the food item with an alternative to suit your child.

At no time will a child go without a meal simply because of his/her dislikes. However we need to know when you register your child at the nursery of any information with regards to allergies that will help us to ensure your child’s comfort and contentment.
